Construction Project Manager
Washington, DC (onsite)

12+Month Contract
Client is seeking a self-starter Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in general contracting, to manage mechanical, plumbing, and electrical projects across a university's 65 buildings. Must be capable of working independently with little oversight and flexible in handling issues to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
Manage budget, schedule, procurement, quality, safety, and risk for projects.
Communicate effectively with the client and present work confidently.
Elevate and resolve issues promptly; adaptable and goal-driven.
Ensure comprehensive follow-up and execution from project start to finish.
Willing to work on weekends occasionally as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years in project management, with a preference for general contracting experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Adobe. Familiarity with Bluebeam is preferred.
Excellent communication, highly organized, self-motivated, and experienced in managing complex projects.
Strong follow-up skills and experience in quality improvement or ground-up construction projects are nice to have.
