**State & Local Tax Manager**
Jefferson Wells is looking to hire a **SALT Manager in Westminster, CO** . This is a full-time 6-month contract role with potential to perm hire, hybrid position with 3 days in the office. We are seeking an experienced State & Local Tax Manager with 10 years’ experience in supporting a team managing state and local direct and indirect tax department of three. Analyze tax laws and track legislative changes that can impact business. Create and implement tax policies, processes, and tax financial reporting and record keeping.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Preferred Master.
+ 10 years of experience in a role that has mostly focused on State & Local Tax.
+ **Must have experience doing multi-state consolidated Income Tax Returns using Corp Tax.**
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Alteryx would be a plus.
+ Strong experience in Income/Franchise tax, Sales and Use tax, and Property tax. Managing Compliance, Audit, Provision Reporting, Appeals and Abatements.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
**What’s in it for you:**
+ Hourly rate of $65 to $80 an hour with Direct Deposit
+ Full-time, 6-month contract with potential to perm hire with full Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K Benefits as a W-2 employee.
