***EDUCATION REQUIRED - HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED***
SCHEDULE: DAY SHIFT - 6:00 AM TO 6:00 PM, MONDAY - FRIDAY, OVERTIME AS NEEDED.
TOP REQUIRED SKILLS (MUST BE SHOWN ON ALL RESUMES):
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE ON THE RECEIVING SIDE
- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OPERATING FORKLIFTS
- MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE AND ADAPTABLE TO LEARNING NEW SYSTEMS
- MUST HAVE A GOOD ATTENDANCE & PUNCTUALITY RECORD
HIRING PROCESS: ALL INTERVIEWS WILL BE CONDUCTED IN-PERSON. WE NEED TO FILL BOTH POSITIONS ASAP.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in shipping or receiving when needed
- Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
- Move items to appropriate areas
- Record amounts of materials or items moved into the computer database
- Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts
- Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
- Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Strong Knowledge of Oracle.
- Ability to work with heavy equipment.
- Capability to learn on the job and apply.
- Ensures availability of material on assembly floor for all capital builds.
- Performs other work-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong Knowledge of Oracle.
- Ability to work with heavy equipment.
- Capability to learn on the job and apply.
- Ensures availability of material on assembly floor for all capital builds.
- Performs other work-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Reads and writes in English.
- Two-years of previous warehouse experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Limited (less than 5%) travel.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours.
- Exposed to loud noise while in the warehouse.
- Exposed to moving parts while on the shop floor.
- Must be flexible to work overtime when needed.
- Exposed to occasional hot and/or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature since the shop floor is neither air-conditioned nor heated.
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

- Wears proper PPE while in the warehouse.
- Communicates well with other employees.
- Works well alone and in team environments.
- Able to read and understand all JHA's in English.
- Adheres to facilities safety policies and attends all monthly safety training.
- Attends all Human Resource directed training via classroom, iComply, or HUB Learning CBT.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Able to operate an MSCA (Oracle) Gun.
- Operates both JIB and Overhead cranes.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 45 pounds.
- May use other business systems (ERP/MRP).
- Uses office copier to scan and copy documentation.
- Wears a Fall Protection Harness when performing work at heights.
- Uses company software to include: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Writes, sends, and receives Emails to internal Customers / NOV Employees.
- Operates Class II & IV Forklifts (Hyster 50-170 & Order Picker / Manlift / Reach truck).
- Writes, sends, and receives emails from internal NOV employees and external Customers.
