Web Analytics Developer
Description -
Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established
guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act
as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team
decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to
identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions
on complex business issues.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, QA, deploy, and document web analytics solutions using JavaScript, tag managers, and analytics tools
Diagnose and resolve complex analytics data collection anomalies using web analytics testing tools and methodologies
Collaborate with stakeholders, solution providers, and other development teams to design, develop and publish web analytics solutions
Document new and existing web analytics solutions for developers and data analysts
Configure and manage analytics solutions in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics
Qualifications & Experience required:
3+ years of advanced JavaScript development experience, including object oriented programming in JavaScript
Experience developing with the Document Object Model (DOM) and HTML, including single page apps
Experience designing and developing digital data layers, including the Google dataLayer with enhanced eCommerce Experience with developing custom Google Analytics solutions in GA360
Experience developing custom Adobe Analytics (e.g. “Omniture”, “SiteCatalyst”) solutions, including Adobe Analytics Admin experience
Experience with Google Tag Manger
Bachelor's Degree with field of study in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Ability to work during normal business hours in U.S. Central Time, plus some time outside of normal business hours to teleconference with international teams and emergency trouble shooting Interactive/Web Marketing
