A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a State and Local Tax Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to state and local tax law and be interested in working for a multi-state tax practice, including support for lawyers in all offices. The position requires a high level of academic achievement, as well as strong research, writing, and communication skills.
Duties:
Assist with state and local tax matters, including tax planning, controversy, and litigation.
Conduct legal research on state and local tax issues and prepare memoranda.
