Strategy Director

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Serve as the primary strategic contact or senior contact for clients.
• Create research-driven, strategic programs that meet or exceed client objectives.
• Grow and develop a strategy and planning team. Included is training and development, ensuring quality work and deliverables, implementing and building efficient processes.
• Formulate thoughtful points of view and recommendations and thought leadership.
• Display an understanding of industry processes working closely with analytics and our media practice.
• Demonstrate advanced writing skills.
• Demonstrate practical and advanced understanding of social media.
• Craft and develop analytics programs and metrics that meet and exceed client business objectives.
• Use qualitative and quantitative research to develop and evaluate client programs.
• Cultivate business growth opportunities among existing and prospective clients.
• Lead and contribute to new business proposals.
Requirements:
• Must be on-site in Chicago, IL office
• A deep understanding of brand strategy.
• Multi-tasking capabilities, from pitches to client work to overseeing to executing.
• Knowledge of how content, social, media, engagement, brand and digital strategy work together.
• Can write a killer strategy. And a killer deck to go with it.
• Working knowledge of media, search and analytics.
• Experience leading and executing strategy-driven projects for potential and current clients to advance their business and brands.
• Over 7+ years' experience in digital projects and 10 years in planning and strategy - someone who knows the space and can prove it.
• Can grow a strategy team.
• Able to develop revenue by growing profitable client relationships.
• Demonstrate great insights into consumers and their relationships with brands.
• Knows how to sell-in great thinking to clients.
• Knows how to present. And works well with others.
• Has a solid new business track record.
