Interior Design - Senior Designer

We are seeking design professionals to join our expanding team of collaborative designers. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, self-motivated, creative, and have a positive attitude. We expect candidates to hit the ground running, with the ability to manage a wide range of projects simultaneously from concept through completion.
The Role
Brand Ambassador: represents Studio K on a daily basis
Attends industry events and keeps their eyes and ears open
Runs and oversees projects
Ability to run client meetings on the fly
Oversees and manages multiple large scale projects all at once
Quick problem solver and ability to think on your feet
Train and mentor design team
Coordinate with client, GC, and architect
Draft RFPs and Project Contracts
Keep an eye on all staff and step in when needed
Perform weekly check-ins with team members
Conduct interviews with potential team members
Conduct annual reviews with team members
Qualifications & Skills
Interior Design Degree
8+ years interior design work experience - hospitality required
Excellent AutoCAD & Adobe Creative Suite Skills. Photoshop and InDesign a must. SketchUp and Illustrator a plus.
Exceptional vendor management and communication (written/verbal) skills
Ability to confidently and clearly communicate design to clients
Proficient in all phases of design from concept through construction administration
Proficient in working with and sourcing architectural materials/finishes and FF&E
Proficient in construction drawing, documentation and oversight
Oversee and manage a team of designers across multiple projects
