YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for a curious, smart and "learn it all" Architect with proven experience and a passion for designing solution architectures for our prospects and customers to support and help our growing services team. As a Solutions Architect at Redwood Software, you will be pivotal in designing and implementing advanced workload automation (WLA) solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.
You will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams (Sales, Services, Solution Engineering, Security, Cloud Ops) to ensure our automation solutions align with business objectives and technical requirements. Your deep understanding of both business processes and technical architectures will be crucial in unlocking technical blockers and delivering scalable automation solutions. You will be responsible for supporting engagements with new prospects as well as existing customers.
Solution Design and Architecture:
Develop and design comprehensive workload automation solutions tailored to client requirements and best practices.
Create detailed architectural blueprints and technical documentation.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and highly available.
Client Engagement and Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their business needs, operational challenges, and automation goals.
Conduct workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present solution designs, and provide expert advice on automation capabilities and strategies.
Implementation Oversight: Lead the technical implementation of workload automation solutions, ensuring adherence to design specifications and project timelines.
Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of automation tools and platforms.
Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing solution performance.
Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure cohesive solution delivery.
Mentor and guide junior team members and technical staff.
Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposal development, technical presentations, and client demonstrations.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in workload automation technologies.
Identify opportunities for enhancing existing solutions and processes.
Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and reusable assets.
YOUR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in workload automation solution design and implementation.
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in the software automation industry.
Proficiency with automation platforms such as Redwood Software, Control-M, AutoSys, or similar.
Strong knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Java, PowerShell).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, web services, middleware).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Project management skills are a plus.
