We are actively searching for a skilled Control Systems Technician to join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, TX. As a Control Systems Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of control systems for our cutting-edge material handling and automation solutions. Your primary focus will involve troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing control systems to meet stringent safety standards and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Control Systems Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on various control systems, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Motors/Wiring configurations, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Computers, Electrical Schematics, Control Circuits, and Preventive/Predictive maintenance.
PLC Control Maintenance:
Diagnose and address PLC Control level issues, with a specialization in Allen Bradley systems.
Control Components Handling:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, and related equipment.
Collaboration:
Cultivate positive relationships with colleagues across all organizational levels, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Control Systems troubleshooting and programming.
Expertise in repairing control network components.
Proficiency in motor controls, including motor starters, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs and Human Machine Interface (HMI) components.
Hands-on experience and troubleshooting in industrial electrical settings.
Familiarity with a variety of conveyors and sortation systems.
Knowledge of AB RS LOGIX 5000 PLCs and PLC components.
Understanding of SCADA systems and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
