Description Trench Shoring Company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support it’s Slide Rail and K-Rail Division. Slide rail is a modular shoring system that pipeline and large excavation contractors utilize for complex projects and applications. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the delivery of all related job-materials to a job-site and bidding (pricing) the projects in advance for the customer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate delivery of all slide-rail/k-rail related products to job sites as dictated by customers.
Work directly with outside haulers and company customer service teams to coordinator delivery schedules, and deliver materials timely.
Negotiate contracts with outside haulers to make sure pricing is cost-effective and deliveries are efficient.
Provide customer service to existing customers to maintain strong relationships.
Partners with managers company wide to help identify inventory of specialty equipment to complete complex job requirements.
Work in tandem with team of slide rail instructors and transfer truck drivers. Be able to take direction from multiple sources to coordinate multiple projects.
Provides specialty product pricing and support.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience working in the construction, or construction rental industry.
Knowledge and experience on Slide Rail Systems and Installation/Removal methods.
Must be detail oriented, and able to multi-task using e-mail, rental management system, and phone communication. Previous experience with excel is strongly preferred.
Competent with basic mathematical principles.
Knowledge of underground construction equipment capabilities, soil conditions, and safe working capacities.
General knowledge of OSHA safe working practices.
Specific knowledge of the OSHA and applicable state and local requirements relative to Trench and Excavation Shoring and Shielding.
Capable of communicating detailed and complex information to a variety of audiences.

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Be physically able to routinely lift 70 pounds but are expected to not lift anything over 50 pounds on a recurring basis.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision; Distance vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus
The employee must frequently wear Trench Shoring Company mandated safety equipment (including but not limited to high-visibility vest, hard helmet, approved safety glasses and safety-toe boots).
Working hours are typically Monday through Friday, 10-hour days with the possibility of weekends.
