We are a nationwide Construction Management Firm who works in the Public and Private sector. We manage the construction for our clients who include Private Developers, VA System, Institutional Facilities, Government Agencies, among others.
We have an immediate for an experienced PROJECT ENGINEER to join a high profile mixed use high-rise project in Columbus, OH. This project includes retail, luxury residential, hotel facility including luxury spa, and will tie to a historic building next to the project.
This is a DIRECT HIRE position supporting a very long term project!
Job Function:
As part of the Owner\Development team and under the general direction of responsibility of the Senior Construction Manager, you will coordinate, monitor, and maintain records at the construction site in an orderly manner, being responsible for assuring standards are met in accordance with Owner’s procedures. Keeping detailed “records of work” including preparation of Logs, review invoicing, tracking specific contract reporting required of the Project’s Construction Manager, and providing correspondence to the Owner\Developer where applicable of specific contract documents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain job-site files, documents, reports, and daily log; prepare periodic reports for Owner\Developer.
Review supplemental contract documents, logs, records, forms, Contractor cost reports, material and labor documentation, estimates, items of change, test results, notices, and other project information as assigned by Owner’s Project Executive
Able to maintain work logs and site diaries, together with compiling and monitoring status reports.
Review components of requests for progress payments, and invoicing as assigned by the Owner’s Project Executive
Review components of contractor reports, and forms as assigned by the Owners Project Executive
Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture from an accredited University.
Experience: Minimum of 5-15 years of relevant work experience in the Construction Industry.
Knowledge: Working knowledge of building components, systems, and construction processes.

Preferred Qualifications :
High rise experience is highly preferred – can be residential, hotels or mixed use
