WHAT YOULL BE DOING:
Under liberal supervision, assist Electrical Engineers in planning and testing of electrical/mechanical components. Preparing electrical components for testing using advanced test equipment.
Equipment includes,
Environmental Chambers
Oscilloscope
VOM
Surge Tester
Electrostatic Discharge Tester
Data Acquisition Equipment
Programable Power Supplies
Qualifications:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
A two year degree or equivalent is preferred
Requires at least 5 years related experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills working with Engineers and the ability for critical thinking.
Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans.
Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints and models.
The ability to:
Devise and fabricate test fixtures.
Follow lab test procedures.
Program automated test stations.
Generate wiring diagrams for testing set up.
Work with Excel, Word and PowerPoint at a highly proficient level.
Write clear and concise test report results.
Analyze data and determine pass/fail based on acceptance criteria.
Work with voltages at a PCB level up to 575 vac, three phase.
