About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Finance to manage its accounting department and provide essential financial information for decision-making. The role involves overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, and managing the creation and dissemination of financial management reports. The successful candidate will be responsible for the monthly close process, internal and external financial statement preparation, corporate treasury management, and compliance with financial and tax regulations. Additionally, the VP Finance will be expected to participate in special projects, maintain productive working relationships, and communicate financial matters effectively to non-financial stakeholders.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification, and a minimum of 10 years of hands-on accounting experience. Expert knowledge of GAAP, strong ERP systems proficiency, and experience with financial planning and CRM tools are essential. The role requires superior analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of meeting deadlines. A Master's or MBA, experience in the professional services or software industry, and a background in a private equity-owned company are preferred qualifications. The position demands a high level of organization, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and strong management skills to build and motivate teams.
