Role: ServiceNow Developer - ITSM, CMDB-Event Management
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite )
Contract : 12+ Months
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Event Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules, focusing on ITSM, CMDB, and Event Management.
Design and implement solutions to enhance ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
Develop and implement CMDB solutions to ensure accurate and comprehensive configuration data management.
Implement Event Management solutions to monitor and manage IT infrastructure and services effectively.
Customize ServiceNow applications, including forms, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and notifications.
Configure ITSM, CMDB, and Event Management processes to meet business requirements.
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and monitoring tools to facilitate Event Management.
Ensure seamless data exchange and synchronization between ServiceNow CMDB and other systems.
Identify opportunities to improve ITSM, CMDB, and Event Management processes through automation and enhanced functionality.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Ensure all customizations and integrations meet quality standards and perform reliably in production.
Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures.
Provide training and support to end-users and other developers on ITSM, CMDB, and Event Management functionalities.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ITSM, CMDB, and Event Management applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow performance, functionality, and integrations.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on ITSM, CMDB, and Event Management.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and architecture.
Experience with JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow APIs.
Proven track record of successful ServiceNow implementations and integrations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
