Oversees and manages the month-end, quarter-end, annual close and financial reporting procedures
Analyzes monthly account information and activity
Reviews monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations
Provides support and training to Corporate Accounting and Accounts Payable teams
Support preparation of monthly internal management and external reporting packages
Support process improvements across the accounting/finance department
Design and implement accounting procedures that maintain strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements
Support ERP implementation
Support external audits by working with external auditors
Research and advise on US GAAP Accounting Treatment
Perform special projects as needed
Maintain and develop relationship with internal and external parties of the Company
Minimum Requirements
Education and Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a bachelor’s degree in another field coupled with a Certified Public Accountant designation
5 - 8 years of related work experience performing and overseeing standard accounting functions within a growing organization.
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal and external parties of the Company.
Knowledge of accounting principles in accordance with US GAAP
Knowledge of relevant technical accounting and reporting disciplines
Knowledge of applicable Microsoft Applications (Excel)
Preferred Requirements
CPA (active)
Proven experience building high performing teams
Public Accounting / Audit experience
Experience with Netsuite ERP System or Other ERP general ledger software
Armed Forces Veteran (Bonus)
