As we embark on this exciting journey, we seek a dedicated and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team and lead the development and implementation of our human resources strategies and initiatives.
As the Director of Human Resources, you will oversee all aspects of HR management at CASCADA, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance. You will play a key role in shaping our organizational culture, fostering employee engagement and satisfaction, and supporting the growth and success of our team members while contributing to our community.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with Cascada's mission, values, and business objectives, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Lead the recruitment and selection process for all levels of staff, including developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs, workforce planning strategies, and succession planning initiatives to support business growth and continuity.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, and addressing employee relations issues in a fair and timely manner.
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, morale, and retention.
Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, coaching, and development planning, to support employee growth and career advancement.
Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, incentive plans, health and wellness benefits, and leave policies, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate and facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills, competencies, and performance, and support succession planning and career development.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including employment eligibility verification, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA requirements.
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and data, and prepare reports and analytics to track key HR metrics, trends, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures, with knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels of the organization.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff and influence organizational culture.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in HR practices.
