We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President of M&A / Corporate Development to support our strategic growth initiatives through mergers and acquisitions. The VP of M&A will play a critical role in executing strategic transactions that align with our corporate objectives and drive long-term value for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hands-on comprehensive due diligence on potential acquisition targets, assessing financial, operational, and strategic fit.
Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and business cases to support M&A decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, operations, and executive leadership, to ensure successful execution of transactions.
Manage the entire transactional M&A process with integration and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Support the CEO (as needed) on strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance the company's growth and competitive position.
Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
5-10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a focus on M&A.
Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions, with an emphasis on due diligence and integration.
Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable insights.
Strong technical financial modeling and analysis skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to travel as needed for deal meetings, conferences, and industry events.
