Holman is currently accepting applications for the role of Senior Financial Analyst. Principal Purpose of Position: Be the lead analyst on non-standard client analyses and long term projects
Create new tools and improve upon existing processes
Utilize data mining techniques and in depth analysis to develop solutions for ad hoc requests
Apply knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software to improve efficiency and accuracy of group output
Utilize expertise to help develop junior team members’ technical skills
Lead projects and be able to review the work of other Financial Analysts
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Training: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
MBA, other Graduate degrees, CPA or CFA a plus
Relevant Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data analytics
Working knowledge of Business Object or similar packages
Able to read and understand Financial Statements
Experience collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook)
Familiar with data analytics/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge: Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to communicate findings
High standards of accuracy and ability to self-review work
Able to manage multiple priorities under competing deadlines
Highly organized
Comfortable working in a high-paced, deadline driven environment
Communicating & Influencing Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to work effectively independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Able to summarize data and present findings in a easy to understand format
Strong research and presentation skills
Comfortable with presenting to high level internal and external clients
Responds to non-standard requests from customers and the business; investigates with assistance from others as needed
