ABSG Consulting is seeking a Budget Analyst.
What You Will Do:
Perform studies, analyses, and evaluations related to business information and financial systems, such as requirements analyses, feasibility studies, and cost/benefit analyses
Analyze, forecast, monitor, and summarize financial data for the management of the contract
Prepare and submit financial information for reports and data calls; review, monitor, and manage budgets; apply financial analysis, cost estimation, accounting, cost accounting standards; and invoicing knowledge.
Provide the full range of financial functions for major system development including should‐cost and projected cost analysis and trade studies related to cost trade‐off options
Define established financial business practices for integration into the client's financial business system; Identify potential problems and recommend solutions through analysis
Work with functional specialists, automation specialists, contractors, vendors, and clients to effectively translate the client’s requirements into an automated application
Apply state‐of‐the‐art tools and processes to effectively automate financial applications in the most effective manner while adhering to the established accounting principles and practices
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
10 years’ experience in related discipline
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in any business-related subject area (Accounting, Finance, Economics)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience with budget analysis, and business information and financial systems
Background in financial functions, including cost analyses, requirements analysis, feasibility studies, and cost/benefit analysis
Location : This role will ideally be located in the Washington, D.C. area, but we are open to the position being remote.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to a manager, director, or executive-level position and does not have any direct reports.

Salary : 110-120k
