As the Sr. Marketing Specialist you will support the development and coordination of marketing programs, collateral, social media, reports, SEO/SEM, website, job ads, events and reputation management sites.

Job Function/Responsibilities:

Must have 3-5 years execution of marketing programs including thought leadership, advertising, sponsorships, email, social media, review sites, sales tools, blog posts, job boards and lead generation.

Working with the Director of Digital Marketing, create and execute organic and paid search optimization strategies across digital platforms.

Maintain consultative knowledge of current digital media best practices, concepts, trends and industry developments.

Manage campaign lists and audience segmentation to ensure accurate, timely and targeted email marketing communications.

Ability to make data driven recommendations for optimal site and channel performance.

Monitor organic performance and conduct performance analysis through Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Grow and improve SEM channel efficiencies to maximize ROI and meet business goals and objectives.

Research marketing and media opportunities for new and existing geographies.

Coordinate the distribution of mass emails and surveys.

Coordinate all email lists and campaigns in HubSpot.

Serve as subject matter expert for SEO including SERP rankings, crawlability, backlinking, keyword strategy, H1 and meta-tags, as well as all technical aspects such as redirects and site speed.

Define key metrics and translate SEO results into business objectives and ROI.

Skills & Knowledge Preferred:

Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console Experience with Google’s Keyword Tool.

Experience managing CMS platforms like Django, WordPress, or Drupal

Experience executing and optimizing paid media campaigns

A functional understanding of HTML and CSS.

The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills.

Proven success in link building and viral strategies.

The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy.

A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO.

A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO.

Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs.

A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations.

An up to date, working knowledge of current, past, and projected trends in the SEO industry.

Experience with A/B testing and/or multivariant testing.

Familiarity with the best tools in the trade.

Education & Experience Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or marketing.

3+ years of professional-level experience required in marketing and SEO within an external or in-house agency.

Proven proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat on a MAC operating system
