Projects typically also include significant regulatory compliance components.
Bachelors of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related field
Colorado PE license or ability to obtain same by endorsement
5 years of previous work experience in solid waste management, site/civil, and stormwater design
Advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, HydroCAD, and other related civil engineering software applications
Capability to work well individually and in groups/teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with federal, state and local environmental regulations for waste disposal and mining sites
Experience with landfill gas extraction system design and/or operation a plus
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certified
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Be eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid driver’s license
Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Pay range: $65,700 to $100,500, commensurate with experience
