A role in Financial Reporting means that you will belong to a high achieving team that directly supports our mission. As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will leverage your experience in financial reporting and technical accounting as you support all periodic SEC reporting. Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting and Accounting Policy, you will be a collaborative partner in building strong cross-functional relationships with leaders across the enterprise – including Legal, People Operations, and the broader finance team. Your impact will be seen across the entire company as you support a variety of special projects – including M&A and strategic investments, new accounting standard implementation, and process transformation, among other projects. In this role, you will excel in your career as you develop core accounting and reporting skills and gain exposure to dynamic and technically complex special projects.
What You’ll Do
Location: Remote
Reports to: Director, Financial Reporting & Policy
Assist with the preparation and review of all SEC filings – including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, the annual proxy statement, and Section 16 filings
Assist with the analysis and resolution of key technical accounting issues in accordance with US GAAP
Support the evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements
Build cross-functional relationships with key business partners
Assist in enhancing and documenting procedures, policies, and controls.
Lead with integrity as you ensure SOX and internal policy compliance
Support ongoing complex M&A and business transformation initiatives as needed
Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as needed.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar field
3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, auditing, or accounting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead projects independently and balance multiple deadlines
Strong critical thinking, professional judgment, and relationship building skills
Excellent computer knowledge - including proficiency in Excel

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 80,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 120,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
