Overall Requirements :
The Dallas Quality Department is looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician to enable the Operations team to deliver quality service to our customers and maintain our quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates with Operations to provide guidance with respect to product quality issues
Align with the Engineering Department to provide quality input with respect to NPI initiatives
Performs spot inspections on various electronic systems
Responsible for monitoring incoming, inline and pre-ship quality results
Coordinates calibration and ESD compliance program
Makes recommendations to improve and develop Quality System processes
Helps determine relevant quality associated training requirements
Assist with provision of Quality metrics against defined parameters
Activation and tracking of product non-conformities, 8D’s, corrective actions and internal audit finding outcomes on the company Quality system
Work with Quality Team to complete annual quality internal and external audit process
Participate in annual Management Review and external audit process
Experience & Skills:
5+ years of experience as a quality control in a manufacturing organization
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings utilizing GD&T
Experience in ISO 9001 environment
High attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong planning skills and ability to independently manage multiple work activities in order to meet established deadlines and priorities.
Self-starter and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Working knowledge of MS Office Excel and Word
Bonus if you have the following experience
Internal ISO Auditor Qualification and/or Certification
Experienced with IPC610/IPC 620
Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen Training considered is an asset
ITAR clearance
