Influences decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Supports design, development and implementation of Supply Chain and fulfillment and returns strategies to reduce time to market and support new launches and products. Promotes utilization of artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data tools to improve and evolve supply chain teams and processes to meet customer expectations. Responsible for leveraging industry expertise to drive and maintain best in class supply chain strategy and execution utilizing Automation, Robotics and Technology. Grows strategic relationships with suppliers to build business continuity and resiliency in extended supply chain. Drives near term and long-term decisions to align with company strategies and initiatives. Responsible for managing and mitigating risks in the categories of finance, sustainability, business continuity, and compliance. Helps enable revenue generation for excess and obsolete inventory including revenue forecasting, maximizing sales price, minimizing cost structure and multi-channel fulfillment. Possesses expertise in technology thru extensive knowledge of systems, applications and architecture supporting supply Chain. May also be responsible for the operation of company owned or leased warehouses, or supplier management of 3rd party logistics suppliers. Assists in the establishment and administration of unit objectives, policies, procedures and systems. Participates in the development of goals and budgets for area of responsibility. Performs personnel and administrative functions such as adherence to accident prevention plan, motor vehicle and forklift operations, resolving technical problems and ensuring compliance with company policy and promotes development and succession planning thru training, enabling job rotations and mentoring. Responsible for all or most of the following: inventory planning, master scheduling, materials handling, inventory turnover, customer service levels, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controls at all distribution facilities. Controls inventory of purchased parts and materials consistent with schedule, quality and investment objectives. Education: Preferred Bachelors degree in Business or related field.
