About you
We are looking for Account Executives and Senior Account Executives to join our growing team.
2+ years experience in public relations, preferably in a public relations agency setting
Experience working specifically in healthcare, healthtech, digital health, or science communications
Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills
Calmness under pressure and ability to achieve within tight deadlines
Incredible attention to detail, tone and context
Multi-tasking problem solver
Direct and transparent interpersonal communication skills
A polished, professional and timely approach
Genuine interest in biotech, scientific and health technologies and services
About the role
You will work closely with a collaborative team to drive PR and thought leadership for some of the most revolutionary health executives, scientists, venture capitalists, and technologists in the world.
Responsibilities may include:
Media relations - Support media relations programs including active pitching and development of media lists, media landscape analyses and trend research, briefing sheets, campaigns, coverage tracking, and coverage reports.
Account management - Assist with the development and execution of client PR strategy, proactively manage client needs, support account management and planning, and prioritize workload based on impact, timelines, workflow and client goals.
Writing and content - Utilize excellent writing and fast editing capabilities to help shape client stories and messaging. Develop a variety of content for a range of audiences, including creating and producing press releases, pitches, messaging and positioning platforms, website copy, op-eds, media backgrounders, fact sheets, award submissions, social media posts, coverage reports and analysis, talking points and Q&A’s, etc.
Industry monitoring - Scan client coverage and industry activity for trends, topics, competitors and opportunities. Prepare and manage coverage reports for clients and internal teams.
Speaking events - Support efforts to place Thermal clients at leading business, health and life sciences trade conferences and industry events.
Social media - Support development of strategy, content, and campaigns to amplify media activities.
The responsibilities of this role will vary depending on the needs of each specific account and will not be limited to those listed above.
