**Position Summary**
The Carrier Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting revenue objectives through carrier-to-carrier fiber telecommunication sales. A successful candidate will reach revenue objectives by establishing, growing and maintaining relationships with like Carriers. The Candidate generates and qualifies opportunities, presents technical solutions, negotiates, and closes business, as well as establishes and maintains strong relationships throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
**Essential Job Functions**
Drive opportunities and growth through the execution of account development plans for existing book of business.
Grow client through consultation with carrier accounts by providing customers with complex fiber telecommunication solutions.
Engage clients and work with network sales engineers to create network designs and technical proposals that cater to client needs.
Develop and maintain a sales forecasts to ensure accurate revenue predictions.
Monitor all phases of the sales cycle to ensure effective installation and integration of client-centric solutions.
Provide excellent client support by fostering long-term professional relationships with carriers and all stakeholders.
Qualify leads through the submission of proper business analyses.
Maximize revenue and win strategic opportunities by developing relationships with key decision makers.
Improve revenue opportunities through upsells, renewals or service adds by maintaining knowledge of changes in products and the market.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
Experience/Knowledge of broadband technology, telecommunications practices, network security, and redundancy.
Aptitude for, or experience in, identifying creative solutions to resolve complex and difficult problems.
Expert in negotiations, critical thinking and problem-solving.
Experience using solution software applications such as Salesforce.com.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, intense, rapidly expanding environment.
Ability to assume sole and independent responsibility for various projects.
Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments to get desired results.
Strong problem solving, analytical, organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences.
**Education and Experience**
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. Three or more years of carrier/wholesale sales and major accounts experience with repeated success as a top performer, or proven experience/aptitude in a similar environment/role.

**Physical Requirements**
