**Digital Press Operator 1**
Orora Visual – Dallas
**Responsibilities:**
**The Digital Press Operator is responsible for:**
+ Coordinating files and printing files to Digital Press.
+ Maintenance and General up keep of the equipment.
+ Recording Material/Ink consumption and waste.
+ Color correcting files as instructed.
+ Ensuring that the proper hard count for each job is printed.
+ Loading and unloading material to the machine.
+ Maintaining accurate logs for production and down time errors.
+ Communicating any problems to the proper Supervisor.
+ Maintaining the highest possible Quality Control
**Skills** :
**Skills necessary for the function of this job are:**
+ Organization.
+ Basic material, printing and manufacturing knowledge.
+ Mac skills including Photoshop Illustrator and Quark.
+ Time Management
+ Knowledge of Safety regulations
+ Grace under pressure
Good communication skills are also necessary, including the ability to speak and understand English. Extended knowledge of manufacturing and printing experience are a major plus but not a requirement to perform these job functions. ·
**Experience:**
1. 3 5 years experience in a manufacturing/printing facility.
2. Safety training.
