DEPARTMENT SUMMARY
With the continued growth of Parcel Automation sales and the associated shipping volume, the need for high-speed sorting solutions is rising. BlueCrests technology is at the forefront of process automation, sortation, image processing, print apply labeling, sortation software, data management, and integration services. BlueCrests customizable solutions make it easy to ship small and large products from distribution centers by giving customers the ability to automate peak throughput needs and prevent bottlenecks in an increasingly challenging environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
BlueCrest is seeking a motivated Production Control Analyst for our Parcel Automation team. The Production Control Analyst is responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to meet contract requirements and deadlines. They track material demands, vendor performance, and ensure the availability of necessary supplies for projects. Additionally, they create and manage job order schedules and coordinate packaging and shipping needs.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning, scheduling and coordinating production of company programs/projects
Intensive use of MRP (D365) for Work Order generation, processing and transactions
Clear understanding of Production practices and process flow
Interact with Production to ensure information integrity and feedback loop to Operations
Manage/monitor inventory flow and control utilizing BlueCrest best practices
Create/generate reports in support of Program/Project status tracking and reporting
Plan/schedule/coordinate customer parts requests
Plan/schedule/coordinate internal parts requests for the field installs
Contribute to workload planning and resource allocation
Handling production disruptions and productivity problems
Identifying ways to improve productivity and reduce costs
Qualifications
Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates orBachelorsdegree in related area preferred.
At least two years of experience in related disciplines including production planning or assembly work, preferred.
Preferred: Microsoft Dynamics D365 MRP experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints to draft clear and detailed manufacturing procedures.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
