Job Description
A large retail client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. UX Designer/Researcher to join their team within the supply chain line of business. This person will be working on a product that has to deal with everything outside of the distribution centers for this company (this is called the yard). This application is a responsive design that internal employees use to track logistics (what trailers are coming into the yard, where do they park, who is driving them, timing, etc.) This is a software product that lives on the desktop, but some aspects live on a tablet. Eventually this product will be integrated into their overarching warehouse management system. This current product is expected to sunset by 2025. This team is looking for a solution-oriented person. This person needs to be able to work with a variety of options and help drive conversation to solutions. This role is 60% design, 40% research.
Pay Rate: $50-$60/HR

Skills and Requirements
* Min of 5 year of UX design and research experience
* Ability to work on large agile epics (not just stories but entire groups of stories) manage multiple epics at the same time
* Strong time management skills (ability to be proactive about how things are going and if timelines are going to be met)
* Tools: Figma and Miro
* Solution orientation type person- someone who can see beyond the tactical * Degree in engineering but focused on human factors or human centered design or interaction design
* Previous supply chain experience null
