Veriforce is seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to help design and develop modern applications built with micro services. You will join a growing team of talented software and devops engineers to expand the software-as-a-service offerings of Veriforce.

T h e Role You’ll Play

Participate as a crucial member of an agile team working together to deliver incremental value

Embrace agile principles of transparency, cooperation, and rapid delivery of value

Make decisions about design, architecture, and refactoring to enhance our solutions through delivery of new functionality and constant evolution

Work with your team to develop/improve new and existing applications built using

○ Microservices with RESTful interfaces using C# and .NET Core

○ User interfaces using React, Redux, Typescript and/or React Native (mobile)

Use the tools of modern engineering such as agile methodologies, source control, package managers, CI/CD, as well as software testing and debugging tools

Produce code that is consistent, readable, and maintainable by others

Communicate clearly with engineers and non-engineers about what we're building

Constructively and attentively review pull requests and have his or hers reviewed

Uncover, diagnose and resolve issues methodically; not necessarily by trial-and-error

Understand the technologies and concepts behind what we build

Write meaningful, efficient tests for important parts of an application

A n Excellent Fit Would Also Have

Passion for building clean, well-performing software (microservices, web, and mobile clients)

Great communication skills working with members of an agile team

Desire to participate in creating a best in class culture for our organization and our team

Experience working with distributed systems (data distribution, microservices, etc)

Desire to contribute to RESTful API design

Experience working with React, React Native, Redux, TypeScript, and/or Material UI

A keen eye for visual design and usability

To us, experience with particular technologies is not nearly as important as critical thinking, a positive attitude, and eagerness to learn and solve problems together. That said, our applications currently depend on .NET core, React, Docker, Linux, as well as things like Postgresql, Nginx, Consul, Kafka, AWS Services, and Redis.
