Meritage Hospitality Group is seeking a Director of Information Technology to join our team!
What You’ll Do
The Director of Information Technology (IT) effectively manages the information technology systems and provides policies, processes and procedures that promote the customer experience and data security. The Director of IT motivates their team and works collaboratively with restaurant operations to provide first-in-class customer service and project management to keep the restaurants running smoothly.
Essential Job Duties:
Sets the strategic vision for the company’s current and future IT state and aligns technology solutions with the company goals
Manage and develop IT team including network administrators, database management, help desk services and project management staff
Analyze business and end-user requirements and processes to identify opportunities for improvement
Translates business requirements to technical solutions at an organizational level
Responsible for IT infrastructure standards to support company growth
Serve as point of escalation review and approval for key issues and decisions
Manage IT governance process, including maintenance of PCI-DSS Compliance at all times
Collaborate with business department leaders to align their technology requirements with IT resources and solutions
Direct all technology related tasks with regards to acquisitions and real estate development
Ensure agreed upon service levels are maintained to support company operations
Ensure compliance with franchisors technology requirements
Drive team towards proactive service and problem resolutions
Provide high service levels to all end-users, systems, various hardware platforms and networks
Manage and maintain enterprise critical data recovery processes
Clear, concise communication to all levels of the organization
After hours support as needed with travel as necessary
Other duties as assigned

You’ll also need the following qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree required; Master’s preferred
5 years of IT Leadership
Critical thinking skills
Work collaboratively
Judgment and decision-making ability
Forward thinker, focused on innovation, continuous improvement and efficiency
Ability to effectively manage time
Ability to accomplish goals by working through others
Strong leadership skills and the ability to plan strategically
Skilled in system/process analysis and evaluation
Skilled in negotiation
Ability to understand and express oneself through both written and oral modes of communication
