Internal Audit Associate - Wealth Management

We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate to assist in the execution of Wealth Management assurance activities and serve as a Dedicated Bank Resource, which includes supporting the compilation and reporting of information and data related to Wealth Management's bank-impacting assurance and continuous monitoring activities.

In the Audit division, we provide senior management an objective and independent assessment of the Firm's internal control environment for risk management and governance. This is an Associate level position within Business Audit, which is responsible for inspecting controls in front, middle and back offices.

What you'll do in the role :

??? Execute a wide range of assurance activities (e.g., audits, continuous monitoring, closure verification)

??? Understand and adopt new audit tools and techniques

??? Develop clear and concise messages regarding risk and business impact within relevant coverage area

??? Identify and leverage data to incorporate into analysis of coverage area

??? Collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders to build effective working relationships and to execute on team deliverables

??? Effectively manage multiple deliverables while delivering high-quality work

What you'll bring to the role :

??? At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

??? Understanding of audit principles, tools and processes (e.g., risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting and continuous monitoring)

??? Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and adapt messages to audience

??? Ability to identify patterns and anomalies in data

??? A commitment to practicing inclusive behaviors

??? Willingness to solicit and provide feedback to further develop self and peers

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $91,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
