JOB DESCRIPTION

The Washington, DC office of Alston & Bird is seeking approval to hire temporary administrative support for a four-month period between May 1 - August 31 to support the summer associate program and the on-campus recruiting process.

The Temporary Attorney Hiring Assistant's tasks will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Summer Program preparing event invitations

maintaining event RSVPs

creating nametags

booking conference rooms

preparing orientation materials

working with conference services and multimedia on internal events and trainings

collecting work product evaluations and ensuring the database is maintained and current

collecting materials for the Hiring Committee

attending events and trainings as needed

other duties as required

On-Campus Process: data entry, including entering hundreds of resumes into viRecruit

creating and maintaining candidate files

updating departmental charts

scheduling callback interviews

assisting with candidate visits

hosting Zoom interviews

preparing OCI binders

booking conference rooms

preparing files for Hiring Committee meetings

preparing offer and rejection letters

other duties as assigned
