About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Access and Reimbursement. This key leadership role involves the management of the commercial organization's payer engagement and reimbursement teams, with a focus on devising and executing customer-specific strategies to ensure the appropriate coverage of the company's commercial products. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing access and reimbursement for the product portfolio, leading a team of Directors and Managers, and integrating cross-functionally to support commercial launch and growth plans. Key responsibilities include directing the payer account team, collaborating on trade and distribution strategy, and creating analyses to understand market dynamics and competitive behaviors. The role also requires the evaluation of contracting strategy, proactive communication with field teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a college degree, with an MBA preferred, and a minimum of 12 years' of experience in the biotech/pharma industry, including over 5 years' managing payer field account teams. A background in the oncology buy and bill model with commercial and government-based payers is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, collaboration, and negotiation skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and a deep understanding of pharma data platforms. The role demands an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, is accountable for deliverables, and can influence both internal and external stakeholders. Experience in influence management and a commitment to compliance are also required.
