Job Description General Function / Summary : The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for working collaboratively on a geographically diverse agile team to develop and enhance complex systems and/or software from user stories and technical/architectural specifications. Essential Duties Responsible for developing and unit testing assigned software features and functionalities.
Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for complex problems/defects.
Provides reliable solutions to complex problems using sound problem solving techniques.
Participates in daily standup meetings to communicate work progress and potential roadblocks.
Presents, collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions.
Technically mentors new and/or less experienced associates.
Serve as a Technical Lead on any given project.
Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions in a timely fashion.
Works collaboratively and professionally with other associates in cross functional teams to achieve goals, with a strong desire to drive change and foster a positive work environment.
Minimum Education And Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent related experience
4+ years of relevant experience
Experience building complex, scalable software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Experience developing software for a cloud-based architecture
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment providing rapid delivery to business partners
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented programming
Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Expert in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Typescript, etc.
Ability and willingness to consistently live and embrace our core values of accountable, inclusive, transparent, and focused
