Role Overview
This role is an opportunity for a high energy, self-motivated, professional who has a passion for analytical insights to drive data driven decision-making within the organization. Your role is multifaceted, encompassing business partnership, executive communication, and financial expertise. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, offering insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize profitability and drive growth. You will lead the charge in crafting compelling business cases, evaluating investment opportunities, and modeling various financial scenarios to inform decision-making. Your ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights will be invaluable as you communicate with senior management and key stakeholders.
Accountabilities
Partner with executive leadership to develop financial plans and strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objective, including annual budget/operating plan and monthly forecasts
Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and make data-driven recommendations
Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly/quarterly variance analysis, KPI tracking, and performance metrics
Translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
Build and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
Manage and mentor team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
Identify key drivers of financial performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address areas of improvement
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus
5-7 years in financial planning and analysis, with a track record of business partnership and strategic decision support
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Experience in a SaaS environment strongly preferred
Proficiency in financial modeling, business case analysis, and P&L management
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial reporting systems (e.g. planning, ERP, BI tools)
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
