As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating projects related to vapor intrusion mitigation systems (VIMS), radon mitigation systems, construction management, and long-term monitoring. Your responsibilities will span across construction, regulatory compliance, resource management, and project execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow and will demonstrate an understanding of vapor intrusion mitigation systems, radon, regulatory requirements, and project management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Allocate resources effectively (both human and financial) to meet project goals.
Monitor project milestones, track progress, and adjust plans as needed.
Proactively identify and mitigate business and environmental risks and identify and execute resolutions in a cost effective and timely manner.
Take ownership of assigned projects
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation, maintenance, and repair of vapor intrusion mitigation systems.
Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and field personnel to address any construction-related challenges.
Coordinate VIMS CQA inspections, testing and certification process
Effectively communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders, team members, and clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, geologists, and health and safety professionals.
Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations related to vapor intrusion mitigation.
Liaise with regulatory agencies, environmental consultants, and stakeholders to ensure compliance.
Prepare and submit necessary permits and documentation.
Understand the intricacies of vapor intrusion assessment (Phase I and Phase II).
Familiarity with site assessments, soil vapor sampling, and indoor air quality testing.
Ability to interpret data from environmental reports and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Safety Certifications:
Possess a Hazardous Waste Project Manager (HAZWOPER PM) certification
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience managing construction projects, preferably on the environmental or engineering side.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
