The Project Manager will provide project management and administrative support for the Datacenter Physical Security (DCPS) program Security Initiatives team to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established project priorities, timelines, and required specifications. The role is highly collaborative in nature offering remote and on-site support during core business hours. Ability to effectively work from home during extended periods is required.
Job Responsibilities:
•Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of activities
•Project manage security initiatives by engaging with stakeholders, designing schedules, assessing risks, managing budget, tracking progress, and escalating issues, as appropriate
•Confirm project requirements, collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute on the project charter
•Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality control activities
•Support the creation of Capital Expenditure purchase orders to support projects, as required
•Create agendas for meetings, manage meetings and take meeting notes to distribute to attendees, as required
•Report project status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
•Create PowerPoint presentations, as required
•Investigate and onboard new suppliers on behalf of point of contact
•Communicate clearly to contacts whose first language is not English
•Act as point of contact and back-up to point of contact
•Conduct research on behalf of point of contact
•Own and update a variety of process documents, job aids, templates, and checklists
•Document and provide weekly progress updates on goals and milestones achieved
•Maintain a customer service approach to problem solving and work with stakeholders to find solutions to their questions or concerns
•Identify opportunities and lead projects that drive process improvement and/or reduce security risk; recommend changes to workflows and operating practices to improve efficiency
•At the direction of the point of contact, perform other duties as assigned to ensure the overall success of the Datacenter Physical Security program
