Supply Chain Specialist - US (Contingency Hire)

Supply Chain Specialist
contingent on upcoming government contract award.
Responsibilities:
Procure products and services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation
Establish a global supply chain for designated products and services
Identify potential issues before they arise
Troubleshoot and resolve issues
Develop procurement SOPs
Responsible for regular and ad hoc reporting and providing management information as required
Manage the sourcing and buying process to ensure products are delivered on time and according to quality, specifications and budgets
Coordinate property tracking in compliance with USG regulations
Prepare and issue enquiries, requisitions, and purchase orders according to project schedule
Negotiate with Suppliers to obtain globally competitive price, delivery, and contract terms
Work directly with contract management to ensure all goals are met
Requirements:
U.S. citizenship
3-5 years of supply chain, procurement or purchasing experience with
Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma and 4 additional years of sourcing experience.
Knowledge of government purchasing procedures and practice
Knowledge of USG Regulations
Ability to work with dynamic requirements
Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, communication, and database management
