Responsibilities Working under general supervision and in collaboration with the Vela Marketing Management team, WRBC Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator performs a wide variety of administrative and marketing support duties related to the daily operations of the marketing department.
Supports CMO and Executive team in the execution of Marketing & Distribution strategy and initiatives.
Assists CMO and Executive team in coordinating various communications and marketing activities.
Coordinates and produces marketing and communications collateral.
Supports in the coordination of Vela’s social media strategy.
Executes a diverse array of details that involve email broadcast, trade shows and events, customer communications, media advertisements, promotions, internal communications, and Vela website and intranet.
Assists with maintaining Vela’s customer relationship management tool.
Help coordinate meetings and other events during industry conferences.
Continually updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and application in the Vela environment.
Coordinates with employees to maintain current information for business cards, professional photos, designations for use on company website, intranet, marketing collateral and external communications.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Four (4) year College Degree, or commensurate experience and training.
0-3 years’ experience in a marketing capacity.
Understand of basic marketing and insurance concepts.
Above average oral and written communication.
CRM – Salesforce or other Marketing platforms.
Computer Skills – Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Canva or similar applications, Hootsuite, Qualtrics, Marketing Cloud, Website/Intranet content maintenance.
