Summary:

The Director of Community Partnerships is responsible for cultivating potential referral sources and maintaining existing relationships to drive business development. The Director of Community Partnerships also assists in any and all aspects of the sales and marketing operations to build census and prospect awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for collaboratively enhancing the social media platform for the community by working with the designated outside providers to include, but not limited to, the website, Facebook, blogging, etc.

2. Work to develop the platform for Instagram for the community.

3. Assist in the writing of newsletter articles, the Pinnacle and other publications.

4. Managing the creative for and logistics of various advertising.

5. Develops annual and quarterly outreach marketing plan based on current community needs and objectives.

6. Cultivates and maintains a network of quality clinical and non-clinical referral sources, driving qualified traffic resulting in sales conversions to Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods.

7. Maintains and builds professional contact data-base, documenting all professional contacts. Each referral sources status is continuously assessed for frequency and quality.

8. Develops the special event strategy designed to expose the marketplace and professional referral sources to Kensington Park. Facilitates and manages on-site special events to be regularly held on-site at the community.

9. Represent Kensington Park at local special events, networking associations, community and corporate functions, health fairs, etc. as appropriate.

10. Keeps accurate inventory of all promotional items and submits requests for re-orders and new items as needed.

11. Assists in conducting periodic competitive reviews to better understand the marketplace and anticipate consumer needs and concerns.

12. Maintains accurate records of all activities including appointments and lead information and submit periodic reports to the Executive Director.

13. Attends training courses and participate in other professional development activities as required.

Knowledge and Skill:

1. Must have excellent verbal skills and communication abilities.

2. Ability to work effectively within a team based environment.

3. Strong time management and organizational skills.

4. Must have excellent computer skills, including; Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Property Management System.

5. Ability to professionally network and engage others establishing positive relationships.

Qualifications:

1. Must be able to clearly and proficiently communicate with people of all ages, while maintaining an energetic and positive attitude.

2. Must be able to read and write English and follow verbal and written instructions.

3. Minimum of 3 years in a similar position, with preferable retirement living or home-care background.

4. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

5. Undergraduate college degree required.

6. Must have reliable transportation to conduct outreach visits on a continuous basis

Mental and Physical Requirements:

1. Requires ability to stand and walk short and long distances for extended periods of time.

2. Must be able to lift and/or carry objects in excess of 25 pounds.

3. Requires reaching above, below, and at shoulder length.

4. Ability to remain calm and positive in stressful situations.
