WaterSaver Faucet is at Erie and Halsted Streets, while Guardian Equipment is at North Branch and Division Streets on Goose Island. Duties and Responsibilities
+ Assembly of water faucet and pressure valve components using powered and manual hand tools, such as air screwdrivers, impact wrenches, and power drills
+ Visually inspect component parts for defects prior to assembly
+ Follow written and verbal work instructions
+ Identify parts required to complete assembly
+ Notify supervisor of part shortages
+ Light assembly of smaller products, subassembly of components, picking and packing parts, etc.
Required Skills/Abilities:
+ Must have basic math skills and computer skills
+ Good communication skills - English required
Education and Experience:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to Lift up to 35 pounds.
+ Other physical demands of the job include, but are not limited to, bending, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking.
Pay and Benefits:
+ Starting salary is $17 or more, depending on experience.
+ Pay rate can increase by $1.25 per hour for perfect attendance
+ Plenty of overtime opportunities
