Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25 - $30/hr
Position Overview:
In the role of Contract Visual Merchandiser, you'll indeed be at the forefront of shaping the brand's product assortment, visual presentation, and overall merchandising strategy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to ensuring that the collections not only resonate with customers but also contribute to the company's growth objectives. Your influence as a Contract Visual Merchandiser will extend across various aspects of the business, from product development to retail execution, making your role pivotal in maintaining the company's position as a leading brand in the fashion industry.
Responsibilities of the Contract Visual Merchandiser:
Develop, deliver, and communicate visual concepts and strategies to promote retail brands, products, and services
Implement and maintain attractive visual displays, layouts, and store decorations in line with company guidelines
Work closely with the retail team to deliver outstanding visual presentations, including window displays, signage, and point-of-sale material
Assist with inventory management, merchandising, restocking, and overall cleanliness and organization of the store
Analyze the store layout and customer flow to determine the strategic placement of merchandise for maximum impact
Regularly review the look and feel of the store to ensure it aligns with the target market and seasonal trends
Collaborate with store management to regularly monitor product inventory and make necessary decisions to ensure effective sell-through
Conduct research on current and emerging visual merchandising trends and innovate on them as applicable
Provide feedback and solutions to any issues encountered
Qualifications for the Contract Visual Merchandiser:
Experience in fashion merchandising
Must have 4 to 6 years of experience in the industry
Eye for design, color theory and style
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong interest for fashion, health, sports, and wellness is a plus
Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe
Styling portfolio is a plus (attach PDF file to application)
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or GED is required
