Penn Medicine Somers Point Cardiology Position Description:
Penn Cardiology Somers Point is seeking a full time non-invasive clinical cardiologist to replace a retiring physician. The practice is located in Somers Point, NJ, only minutes from the beautiful beaches of Ocean City. This is an employed position with Penn Medicine.
The Penn Somers Point Cardiology group currently consists of five physicians, three advanced practitioners and one physician assistant. Their practice is housed in a modern newly-constructed facility with full in-office non-invasive testing, including nuclear and vascular. The building is adjacent to the local hospital, Shore Memorial, which is equipped with a diagnostic catheterization laboratory. All clinical care (inpatient and outpatient) will be provided at this one location.
The schedule for this position will be Monday- Friday, with call presently 1:5.The group utilizes the Epic EMR, which is universal throughout the Penn Health System.
Penn Medicine Somers Point is located on the Great Egg Harbor Bay in Somers Point, New Jersey, just over the bridge from the seaside resorts of Longport, Margate and Ocean City; eight miles south of Atlantic City’s restaurants and entertainment and 20 miles north of Victorian preserved, historic Cape May.
Residents of our communities enjoy beautiful beaches, boardwalk, water sports, fishing, biking, jogging, and a panacea of golf, outdoor concerts and more. Southern New Jersey offers a lower cost of living compared to other parts of New Jersey with easy access to metropolitan cities; just a one-hour drive to Philadelphia, two hours to New York City and Baltimore. Minimum requirements:
Candidates must possess (or be eligible for) licensure in the state of New Jersey. TEE skills a must. Echo and nuclear certification desirable.
