About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Technology to lead its digital and technology innovation in line with the organization's mission of improving health and combatting inequities. The successful candidate will be a human-centered technologist with a strong commitment to health equity, racial justice, and value-centered work. Responsibilities include overseeing the technological infrastructure, shaping digital strategies, and ensuring the organization's technical edge in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The role demands a leader who can champion the use of technology to serve the people, set and execute technology initiatives, and manage a technology team to sustain the company's growth. The VP of Technology will also be responsible for establishing key performance indicators, leading cybersecurity efforts, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations in all digital initiatives.Key qualifications for the role at the company include 7-10 years' of experience leading technology teams, with a focus on user experience, and 3-5 years' in digital strategy, healthcare technology, or related roles. A degree in a related field is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing digital initiatives in the healthcare industry and be a creative problem solver with a passion for innovation. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to manage complex projects and resources effectively. The role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into digital strategies and is adept at working with cross-functional teams. Experience with healthcare regulations, security standards, and data-driven decision-making is also necessary.
