Job Description AECOM  is seeking an experienced  Transportation Transit/Rail Project Manager  to join our  Sacramento Office.

JOB SUMMARY:

This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with mega capital infrastructure transit/rail projects for our key clients. Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate an established career in the transportation transit and rail industry and have a successful track record with the delivery of mega-transit/rail programs. This role will support client procurements by assisting in pre-award planning and coordination of their assigned project(s).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support development and execution of significant rail/transit projects including light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high-speed rail, and/or bus rapid transit surface, aerial or underground project pursuits and delivery (traditional and alternative)

Establish relationships and interact with major clients

Provide technical expertise and input to client procurements, evaluations and selection process(es)

Directly involved in the day-to-day management and delivery of their assigned client project(s) from initial contract negotiations to final commissioning, start-up and handover.

A desire to work with external contractors/consultants, AECOM’s other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients

Be a visible and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally

Coordinate procurement-related actions and deliverables on behalf of the procurement team

Assist in the development of key procurement-related documents

Other related responsibilities as directed by the program director

Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in Alternative Delivery Methods

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience

Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction

Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role

Provide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management

Additional Information Travel may be required for this position.

Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $123,000 - $250,000.
