D2DInc is looking for a Contract Specialist to support a government customer in Virginia Beach, VA. This person will provide acquisition management support for a government customer. The qualified individual will be customer-focused and team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties to be carried out include, but are not limited to:
Quality control, document management, and development of requirements and pre- awarddocumentation.
Providedaily program, analytical, and acquisition management support to in the developmentof acquisition packages such Simplified Acquisition Packages (SAP).
Assist in the development of procurement data packages and supporting documentationneeded to prepare the procurement for contractual processing.
Collect data and provide metrics and display the data in presentation ready formats to support strategic sourcing initiatives, health assessments and ProcurementSurveillance Program initiatives.
Prepare and present training materials to assist in the dissemination ofpolicy and strategic sourcing initiatives and personnel development.
Assist in the development of procurement packages, to include but not limited to, writing technicalspecifications, Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives (SOO), market research reports, acquisition plans, costestimates, and justifications and approvals.
Generate Information Technology ProcurementRequests (ITPRs) as required and ensure they are processed and approved in the Naval Information Technology ApprovalSystem (NAV-ITAS).
Assist with the management of large acquisition support packages within the Procurement ManagementTool (PMT) to include development and update of Procurement Initiation Documents (PID), trackingof milestone execution timelines and creation of Contract Deliverable Requirement Line Items (CDRLS).
Provide guidance to as required to improve the knowledge level associated withcontract artifact development and contract award execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited university or college.
Three (3) years professional experience in DoD and/or DoN acquisition management support.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to interact professionally and collaboratively with others exhibiting decorum and discretion at all times.
Individual must be self-motivated, a fast learner and able to complete tasks with minimal direction and supervision.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have an active Secret clearance.
