About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Admission to lead the Office of Admission for a highly-selective research institution. The successful candidate will be a key member of the enrollment leadership team, working to develop strategies and initiatives that enhance the institution's market position. Responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and procedures for student recruitment, selection, and enrollment, managing a team of admission professionals, and ensuring collaboration with various university constituents. The role requires substantial experience in enrollment management, knowledge of higher education market trends, and familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Slate by Technolutions. The Executive Director will also be responsible for budget management, staff development, and ensuring compliance with admission laws and policies.Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience in a related field, or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent. Skills required include familiarity with various aspects of modern admissions offices, strong process and project management skills, the ability to develop innovative solutions, and excellent communication and customer service skills. The role demands a process-oriented individual with proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Access, and the ability to lead staff through change management. The Executive Director will be expected to lead the admission team in strategic planning, direct the evaluation and selection processes, and manage the admission budget while seeking opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
