Responsibilities:
Supervision of tax engagements
Interaction with clients to discuss tax issues and new tax service opportunities
Coordination of client services
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a master's of tax with 24 years of public accounting experience, including working with a variety of federal and multi-state tax returns for small to medium size businesses and their owners
A CPA certificate or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
Extensive accounting skills required
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skillsExcel, Word and Outlook
QuickBooks experience
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with all levels of personnel
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Superior analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to provide exceptional client service through a sense of urgency and commitment to quality
Appropriate ethical behavior through extraordinary confidentiality, integrity, and professional conduct
Ability to work effectively both within a team environment and independently
