(Only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.)
(Hybrid role Tuesday through Thursday in our Plano, TX office.)
What You Will Do
+ Architect, design, develop, and unit test Forescout eyeSight product features to develop new functionality, improving product capability and enhancing customer experience.
+ Work with senior technical leaders and product management team contributing to define the authentication feature roadmap.
+ Work with QA, technical publication, support, and other teams to ensure high quality end-to-end product delivery.
+ Mentor junior members of the development team.
+ Rapidly learn, evaluate, and explain emerging security technologies.
What You Bring To Forescout
+ 10+ years of industry experience in developing software with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
+ 5+ years of working experience with RADIUS, 802.1x, and authentication protocols and processing with preference on FreeRadius or similar implementation.
+ 5+ years of experience architecting security applications involving authentication and authorization of users and devices.
+ 3+ years of experience leading for a small development team.
+ Hands-on experience with two of these languages: Java, C/C++, Perl, Python, JavaScript; OOD is a big plus.
+ Working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SSH, and other networking protocols.
+ Working knowledge of multiple security product categories such as SIEM, UEBA, CASB, VA, NGFW, ATD, PAM, or EMM.
+ A true startup spirit with strong "can do" attitude willing to wear multiple hats when needed.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams.
+ Excellent communications skills.
